Taylor Wimpey Show Home, Ascot
The brief for this project was to create a luxury, high end scheme for a family with teenage children. This development is the first premium brand development within the whole of Taylor Wimpey, so it was important to get the look and feel absolutely perfect. Making the show home appeal to the lifestyle associated with Ascot was key. There are subtle nods to the racecourse throughout and luxury brands have also been included. The design also includes three pieces of bespoke joinery; a wine cellar, media unit in the living room and desk joinery unit in the bedroom four/study. Bepsoke joinery was carefully planned around the spaces as they featured constraints such as sloped ceilings. But I made sure that the joinery was aesthetically pleasing as well as being practical. Painted beading was used in the hallway and master bedroom to give the spaces timeless charm and character. This design was pitched against three other interior design companies. This show home was launched in March 2024 and recieved wonderful reviews and feedback from both Taylor Wimpey management, employees and potential customers. Unfortunately, the professional photography is not ready yet, but my portfolio will be updated once they are. Budget: £62,000
